“Not really the place to have fun though. Bit boring stayed in my room or out and about the city. Going for swim not great because everyone can see you from restaurant and bar so felt uncomfortable walking past all wet ...not unless there was another entrance i dudnt see”

“The receptionist was very welcoming. The room was basic, had air conditioning. Breakfast was included. They had a pool. I didn’t like that they didn’t clean the rooms every day, no shampoo. They didn’t always have the cushions out in the pool area which made it uncomfortable to sit there. When asking the staff for advice regarding lunch options, they couldn’t help us. ”

“We did have a silent night until the cleaners make noises but we told them it’s too noises outside while we try to take a nap but they answered back with nonsense behavior but my husband told her that he will inform the manager but she said go ahead. Poor service and unpleasant people need to hired people who know how to create people and welcome them with warmth welcome. But I hope this place will be better next time. ”

“I’ve stayed at the Lava Hotel and Taumeasina and this one beats both. So lovely and quiet. Away from the road and the rooms are far apart that you don’t notice your neighbour, great for someone/body that’s looking for a peaceful stay. Will definitely be back!! ”

“This was delightful hotel, a bit quirky and out of the way, but the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and food tasty. The whole place could do with a bit of TLC and the menu updated as several choices were unavailable all week. That said, for a locally owned and run hotel it’s a bit of a gem and any faults forgiven as the staff are so good. Please visit!”

“Stayed in a beach Fales and was amazing. Right on the beach the sea underneath us at high tide. Back to basics loved the experience glamping the Samoan way. Star gazing and listening to the waves at night. Beautiful sunrise in the morning and watching the wildlife wake up. Good amenities and food was sort of ok. Would definitely recommend staying here on the beach. ”

“Great location for waves/ winds during October. You ca use the families boat for going to surf spots or arrange a pick up with the other surf guides who are near bye. William has the surfing bug and is keen to get out there with you. I had a great week, great adventure and lovely downntime. Which is what this Dad who had a week to him self needed. “The staff as always were Super friendly. This is the 2nd stay me and my family have had here. And they never disappoint. It was unfortunate our original room wasn’t available due to renovations. We were then upgraded to a bungalow. Probably wise of them to inform us prior to checking in via phone call.”

“The noise from some of the quests in the hotel went till 2:00am in the morning need to look into it and control by the hotel. The breakfast need to improved a little bit as well. Overal the rooms are very accomodate and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Thank you Alec's Hotel.”

“This is an island style inn with only 6 rooms on the 2nd floor (at least this is what I saw) which are nice and clean. All the ladies who work in the hotel are the sweetest people you will ever meet. Try the pancakes with their signature coconut syrup/jam. Keep up the great work ladies and keep smiling:)”
